If you want it plain and simple, you can just add baby shampoo or liquid body soap and a few crystals of rock salt into the water and also add a few drops of essential oil to the water.
If you want to give yourself that ultimate pedicure then add half a cup of Epsom salt, the juice of an entire lemon, a drop or two of shampoo and also add a few drops of essential oil to the water.

Soaking your feet in warm, fragrant water is a great way to relax and unwind after a stressful day. This will soften and soothe inflammations, reduce any kind of pain, and reduce roughness.. calm the nerves and give your feet the spa treatment they deserve.
Sit comfortably and soak your feet for a good 15-20 minutes put on some soothing music while you do this. It will act as a perfect stress buster.
·       Use the pumice stone to remove calluses - Without delay after the foot soak, deal with calluses on your feet as they’ll be softened and easier to remove. Use a pumice stone to gently scrub your heels, your soles and the balls of your feet to remove the dead skin cells.

Also, use a nail scrubber or an old toothbrush to clean your nails and nail beds. Use the brush to clean in between your toes. While using scrubber or toothbrush be gentle, don’t pressure over resulting it to bleed.

Prepare For Exfoliation

Decide the shape of your nails (square, oval, pointed, or squoval) so that you can file them accordingly. Use a nail filer to shape the nail to the desired shape.

Instead, file in a single direction to get the desired shape.Resist doing the back and forth motion across the tip of the nail, as it will weaken them.

Prepare The Cuticles

·       Apply olive oil on your cuticles - Use a cotton swab to apply a drop of olive oil to the base of each nail. You can also use cuticle oil or cuticle cream. Wait 2 to 3 minutes to let the cuticles soften. This is essential before proceeding to the next step.

·       Gently push back your cuticles - Once this is done, Clean the cuticle cream from the nails with a cotton ball. Push the cuticles back with an angled cuticle pusher. Cuticles are the soft skin at the bottom of your nail where the fingernail cartilage and skin meet. Avoid pushing the cuticles too far, as they help protect the nail beds from infection

·       Trim your cuticles - Now it’s time to push back the cuticles. Use a wooden nail stick to push back the cuticle trims any hangnails or overgrown cuticles. . After filing off the nails, gently push back the cuticles but make sure you do not remove them completely, as it may lead to infection. The cuticle actually forms a protective seal between the nail and the skin and prevents irritants from getting into the skin

Moisturizing and Massaging

·         Cleaning - Make sure you clean them gently as you may injure the nails. Before moving on to the next step, Unlike hand nails, foot nails easily store in dirt.
Use the end of the filer to remove the dirt from beneath each nail and also wipe your nails with a cotton ball to remove any extra oil /cuticle cream and other dirt’s
·       Moisturizing – Apply a thick layer of foot cream or home heavy moisturizer such as olive oil or almond oil mixed with a few drops of your favorite essential oil whichever is handy to you on your feet, both top and bottom, including your heels and cuticles. It is important to massage your feet with such oil to reduce stress and discomfort.

 ·       Massaging - Now that you’re done with moisturizing, it’s time to massage your feet which will help your feet to stay from drying. Massage in circular motions about 10 minutes thorough out your feet. Massaging helps promote circulation and relieve tension in the calves and feet.

Preparing clean nails

·       Get Rid Of Excess Moisturizer - Once you are happy  and Your feet are now fresh and clean, you can apply a fresh coat of nail polish on your feet. Before that, wipe your nails with a cotton ball to remove any extra oil and moisturizer as clean nails will help the nail paint last longer. You can also use a non-acetone paint remover.

Glam Up Your Nails

·       Dress up- After moisturizing your feet, you can polish your nails with a nail color according to your choice and make your feet look great.
·   Paint The Nails - You may or may not follow this step as it’s optional. You can apply a nail polish in three strokes from base to tip: Go up the center, then hit each side.
In order to apply the thinnest coats possible, use one dip per nail and wipe the brush once per dunk before applying. Wait two minutes between each coat of color to speed overall drying time.
·       Apply a base coat - Apply a base coat on your nails first. Many women skip it, but shouldn't as it helps smooth any ridges and create an even surface for your colored nail paint with a transparent nail polish as the base coat.

Put a toe separator in one of your feet, and apply a thin layer of base coat on all your toenails then after the nails are dried, go for nail polish to paint the nails. Repeat with the next foot.
·       Apply two coats of nail paint - Choose nail color of your choice and start from the center of the nail near the cuticle and, using long brush strokes, paint each nail to the tip choice and let it dry for some time.
Applying another coat to intensify the color. Keep the layers of paint as thin as and also dip in cool water as possible to help them dry quickly.
For French pedicure two coat of nail paint will be beautiful when you choose baby pink or light shade of pink so that top coat will give mesmerizing look.
·        Apply a top coat - Once your two coats of light shade of pink  nail paint is completely dry, add a final touch-up by applying a white nail paint on the tip of the toe nail just above the bed of the fingertip. Apply a fine line of the nail paint and leave it to dry.

Thin layer of white nail paint in the tip of toe coat will add shine and luster. This will even help smooth away any flaws and Wearing a topcoat can keep your nails healthy by preventing water loss, resulting nails break less and make your nail paint last longer without chipping. And voila! Your nails are as fresh as dew.
·       Clean up the smudge - Touch up any polish mistakes after nails are dry using a cotton swab and polish remover avoid doing anything as movement may cause the nail paint to chip and peel
But if you're in a rush, don't risk ruining your nails—go speedy instead. Apply a quick-dry topcoat every other day to prolong the life of your polish.

Pamper Your Feet

·       Use foot spray - Finally, use a foot spray on your feet once day before going to bed. Also foot sprays have antiseptic properties which will help keep infections at bay. This may be optional, but it will give a refreshing feel to your feet and keep them odor free.
