OOMPH EFFECT LIP SHADE - "OMBRE"

I call this technique the oomph effect because if you do this using a bright red and deep brown or black, it gives you absolutely sexy looking red ombre lips. The technique involves using a black/brown lipstick or liner then trace over this line of black or brown with a deep colored lipstick. Finally, apply a red lipstick all over your lips.

By having the tools you need it will make it easier. One good thing about this look is that you can achieve it with just ten dollars. I can personally achieve this look in about following steps as below as.

The tools you will need are:

·       Tooth Brush or  any mascara brush
·       Lip Balm
·       Lip primer
·       Lip Liner (your choice of two shade )
·       Lip stick (your choice of two shade )
Now that we have all our tools lets get this train moving. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Exfoliate and Hydrate your lips

First part must be applying a lip scrub and using your finger or tooth brush or any mascara brush to remove the dead skin cells

Start off by applying lip balm to hydrate your lips. It's so much easier to apply lip color when your lips have moisture and also the color can just glide on.

Step 2: Apply a Lip Primer

After you blot off any excess balm, go over your lips with a primer, like MAC Prep + Prime Lip as this will seal in moisture, smooth out your lips, and help make your lipstick last longer.

Step 3: All about contouring

This step ensures you have clean definition around your lips, and can also help make your lip color last longer.

Use black/brown on the inner corners of your mouth and line the  lip line with this as well. Now trace over this line of black or brown with a deep colored lipstick (preferably a wine shade

Don’t worry if the lines on the inside are slightly imperfect because the lipstick will cover them anyway – but it’s the outer lines that matter a lot so don’t worry about the lines on inside of lips as they cover up by lipstick

Step 4: Paint Your Lip

For the interiors of your lips, finish off by applying a red lipstick all over your lips (you can skip the wine colored lipstick if you are using a deep shade of red) either directly from your lipstick tube or stick .

Using a lip brush - Take some product onto a lip brush and apply it evenly all over your lips. you apply it within the corners of your lined lips and Go coat by coat and intensify the color as you please. generally, one good coat of a quality lipstick will suffice.

Finally, use the blurring tool at the opposite end to blend it outwards and inward to like look a like below.

Step 5: Set With a Tissue

Once you have your one-ply tissue, hold it over your lips, and dust translucent powder on with a brush.

The tissue will allow just the right amount of powder to get through to set your lip products. Then, go back over and add another layer of lip color.

Step 6: The Completed Look

The final look is a bold lip that will stay put. Just throw the tube of lipstick and tissues in your bag for quick touch ups throughout the day (or night).

And there you have it. Kissable, unmissable lips!

Even though you have many lipstick colors, trying something different with them is always great. You find new ideas and from trial and error you learn. Not only does trying different looks help you get experience, they help you to make better choices in the future. With your new two-tone lips you will get a whole lot of attention. Have a great day and talk to you soon!
