CHOOSING ROSE PETALS 

There are over a hundred different varieties of roses. Choose the fresh organic roses which will have a sweet smell, delicate and suitable for consumption but not the hybrid one that florists offer.

You are lucky enough to have roses growing in your garden to use them for making rosewater as it will be pesticide-free rose petals so that your finished rosewater is not full of chemicals.

 You pick your own roses from in the early morning when the blossoms are the most fragrant and make rose water as soon as you can for best results. But you can also purchase roses but they should be from an organic source.

It is important to It’s possible to use dried petals. I particularly love when I’m lucky enough to having wild roses in rose water preparation across them. Another option is to use lavender flowers. Follow the directions below for the dried petals and use the lavender water in place of the rosewater in the following recipes.

It is very important to make sure you source high quality roses. I strictly get my dried rose petal which have fragrance is strong and the color pay off in beauty recipes is often a rich ruby hue.


TIPS AND PRECAUTIONS:

2. Regular usage of rose water will tighten up the pores, brings a natural glow and nourishment, prevents signs of aging, refresh and rejuvenate your body, relieves your stress and depression.

3. You can also make rose water based on essential oils by simply mixing 12 drops of rose essential oil in 1 cup of distilled water. Stir well by adding 1 teaspoon of vodka (to prevent oil floating on the top) and pour it in a glass bottle.

4. Always use distilled or filtered water for preparing rosewater.
